A Subtle Feature Wall with Warmth
One of the client’s top priorities was reimagining the TV wall in the living room — to make it a subtle feature that added to the home’s overall design.
We achieved this with a custom floating walnut cabinet, paired with open illuminated shelving and concealed storage. The wall feels tailored and modern, grounding the space without overpowering it.
Designing for Connection and Calm
The original layout featured a central wall that divided the kitchen from the living room, limiting both natural light and connection. By removing that wall, we brought openness and balance to the main floor, allowing for effortless flow between cooking, dining, and gathering spaces — exactly what this family needed from their kitchen remodel in Bismarck.
The overall aesthetic was inspired by the client’s love of walnut and evolved into a Warm Scandinavian Modern style — layered natural textures, clean lines, and subtle midcentury undertones. The result is an inviting, elevated atmosphere that balances comfort and sophistication.
