Setting New Trends in Home Design

Standing out in Style: The Wing House

Dually named for its expansive wings, which are the result of separate living quarters, and the home’s bird’s eye views, the Wing House is a testament to the power of intentional design.

The home was designed and built to take full advantage of the lot’s attributes. Breathtaking views and bountiful light were considered. In fact, solar power was harnessed through strategic window placement to capture passive heat. Even the wind was thought through. A courtyard was incorporated into the design to block heavy breezes and build an outdoor gathering space.

The Wing House aesthetic is prairie modern. Natural finishes, neutral tones and expansive windows are reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright. Classic subway tiles in a vibrant turquoise color with an orange range turn the clock back in the kitchen, which is a great contrast to the modern-day features elsewhere.

The success of the Wing House is a direct result of the homeowner’s willingness to push boundaries and a receptiveness to the thoughtful approach to construction.
